Google saved over a billion in a fiscal as employees worked from home amid Covid

According to a report, Google's parent firm Alphabet saved nearly $268 million in expenses from company promotions, travel, and entertainment, in comparison to the previous year, as the firm's employees worked from home amid the pandemic. As per the company filings, the savings of Google were over a billion in the last fiscal. Alphabet spent $1.4 billion less on advertising and promotions in 2020 as compared to 2019.
