Google seems to have leveraged its dominant position in India & reduced the ability of manufacturers to opt for alternate versions of Android OS. A 14-page CCI order finds Google's restrictions on manufacturers seem to amount to an imposition of unfair conditions. This case is similar to that Google faced in Europe, where regulators imposed a $5 billion fine for forcing manufacturers to pre-install its apps on Android devices.
