Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan to get Rs 1.3 crore from Kerala government

Correcting its years-long mistake, Kerala government has approved Rs 1.3 crore compensation to former ISRO scientist S Nambi Narayanan, to settle a case he had filed in Thiruvananthapuram sub Court against his unlawful arrest. Narayanan was accused and charged with leaking vital defence secrets to two alleged Maldivian intelligence officers in 1994, but the charges were later proved false by the CBI.
