For password-free authentication, Apple and FIDO alliance joined hands

Fast Identity Online Alliance (FODI) and tech giant Apple has joined hands to promote password-free authentication. Apple already supports FaceID on iPhones and touchID on selected Mac devices for logging into the devices. FIDO some other big names from the industry listed as its member, that include Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon and ARM. FIDO provides specialized framework and protocols for safe and password-free authentication.
