First night trial of the nuclear capable Agni-III conducted at Abdul Kalam Island

The first night trial of the nuclear-capable Agni-III surface-to-surface ballistic missile was conducted from a mobile launcher at the Integrated Test Range. This was held at the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast. The trajectory of the missile was monitored and the outcome is yet to come. As per the sources, the strike range of the missile is around 3500 km. This was a part of a user trial by the Indian Army.
