In a major achievement, South Korea today launched its first-ever domestically-developed space rocket, joining the league of the most advanced nations in the world in the field of space technology. "It looks like it's soaring into the sky without problems," a commentator said while referring to the Korean Satellite Launch Vehicle II, informally called Nuri. The space rocket was launched from the launch site in Goheung.
