Facebook users to get Fake news alert

Facebook has revamped one of its programme that checks for fake news on the platform. Last year, Facebook launched a fact-checking program in Karnataka with a fact-checking portal Boom. The company will now check the fact in collaboration with AFP India, Fact Crescendo, Factly, The Quint, and India Today Fact check. FB said that their ambition is to spread news literacy and to disrupt the financial incentives of the spammers.
