WhatsApp's end-to-end encrypted chat backups for iOS and Android are here. As per The Verge, social media giant Facebook announced that the company has started rolling out end-to-end encrypted backups to WhatsApp, on Thursday. Facebook has offered end-to-end encryption for chats for years, but with this new change, users will be able to get the same level of encryption with their backups too.
