India successfully test-fired the extended-range version of indigenously developed Pinaka missile system from a test range off Odisha coast on Friday. The missile capable of successfully hitting a target up to a range of 90 km, successfully struck a test target. It is a high precision artillery missile system that has been developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation to hit targets in enemy territory.
