The European Space Agency is forced to ask help from NASA to save its 2020 ExoMars mission, following a failed series of parachute tests. 2 parachutes were supposed to be deployed on the ExoMars rover; but the delay due to flunked tests has put the 2020 timeline in jeopardy, with engineers only giving the mission a 50% chance of launching on time. If it's missed, the escalating costs will soar & launch will get pushed to 2022.
