Elon Musk-owned electric carmaker Tesla won a case against former employee Martin Tripp, who was fired for hacking and transferring company data to third parties. A lawsuit was filed against Tripp in which it was alleged that he wrote a software that hacked the carmaker's manufacturing operating system, while working at Gigafactory in Nevada in 2018. Tripp transferred several gigabytes of Tesla's data to third parties.
