World temperatures rose faster in the late 20th century than in the last 2,000 years. Researchers gathered data from about 700 temperature indicators to provide an absolute timeline of the planet's recent climate history. The findings are crystal clear that at no point in modern human history did temperatures rise so fast & consistently as in the late 20th century & concluded that humans never witnessed such rapid global warming.
