Designed in California and Assembled in India: Ravi Shankar Prasad shares pic with iPhone XR

As a result of the government's efforts to bolster mobile manufacturing in the country, Tech titan Apple has started production of iPhone XR in India for the domestic market and exports. IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who expects further expansion of manufacturing in India by Apple, said he has received an Apple iPhone assembled in India and hoped that it will further expand its manufacturing in the country.
