An independent security researcher has discovered a database of 9.1 Mn Zoomcar users being sold on the dark web by an anonymous hacker. The database includes sensitive user data like name, email, phone number, IP address and encrypted passwords. Hacker claims to have hacked the company’s database in 2018. A database with details of 36 Lakh users is being sold for just $1-$2, whereas the complete database is available for $300 (INR 22K).
