Coronavirus: MIT students directed to leave campus and take classes online

In response to the coronavirus outbreak, Massachusetts Institute of Technology took an extreme measure of urging undergraduate students to leave campus and attend their classes online. The university has temporarily moved to an only-online class model to help fight the spread of the ongoing outbreak. In Massachusetts, confirmed coronavirus cases have already jumped to 92, and a state of emergency has been declared.
