Cisco joins hands with Google to provide free Wi-Fi zones in India

Google station and American technology conglomerate Cisco have joined hand to roll out free, open, and high-quality public Wi-Fi. The project is already in its first phase in which they are planning to set up 200 Wi-Fi enabled locations in Bengaluru by September 2019. Through this project they are moving from slow to high-speed internet access across the country to increase user engagement, Cisco India officials said.
