A former classroom teacher who developed an education app has become the newest billionaire in India. Byju Raveendran, the CEO of Byju's, has joined the Billionaire club after his Think & Learn Pvt has received $150 million in funding earlier this month. The deal conferred a value of $5.7 billion on the company in which Raveendran own more than 21%. The app offers online lessons on various subjects and topics.
