Blue Origin launches record 6th spacecraft to Fly NASA Science, Student Art to Space

Blue Origin, the private spaceflight company founded by billionaire Jeff Bezos, made its record sixth launch, to carry NASA experiments, student art projects and thousands of postcards from kids on a suborbital trip to space today. The company used its reusable New Shepard spacecraft and rocket to launch the NS-12 mission today after a 24-hour delay due to bad weather. The spacecraft was launched at 12:53 p.m. from West Texas.
