In December 2021, India's ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) will launch a Bhutanese satellite. The satellite is being developed by four Bhutanese engineers who have completed the first phase of their training with ISRO. "Our two countries are collaborating to create a satellite...this spacecraft would be launched in 2021 from ISRO's facilities," said Ruchira Kamboj, India's ambassador to Bhutan.
