As per the BCG CII report, average digital video consumption has increased almost 2X to 24mins per day from 11mins/day over the past two years. In comparison to last year, the digital video had a phenomenal rise of about 15% rise in the number of sessions which has contributed close to 20-25% growth in average time per session. This significant rise is due to smartphones and rapid internet penetration in the same period.
