A team of astronomers have recently captured 15 rare images of planet-forming disks around stars, located hundreds of light years away. Studying the origin of the planets will help understand how the planetary systems work. The protoplanetary disks are formed in unison with the stars they surround. The discs of dust and gas look like music records and it would shed more light on how planetary systems are formed.
