The iPhone maker Apple agrees to pay $18 million to settle a class-action lawsuit of 2017 that alleged it deliberately broke FaceTime on older iPhone devices. The lawsuit alleged that Apple forced users to upgrade to iOS 7 by essentially breaking FaceTime in iOS6. Now, Apple has reached a deal and will be paying a hefty amount and 90% of class action members will receive compensation via email or electronically.
