Apple to introduce mini-LED screens in MacBook & iPad models

Apple is working on a huge upgrade to the screens used in MacBooks and iPad to minimize its reliance on components from Samsung. The new upgraded models are expected to hit the market within two years. These devices are most likely to be 10-inch and 12-inch iPads, and 15-inch and 17-inch MacBooks and will be branded as Pro models because of the high cost and general difficulty of manufacturing mini-LED screens.
