Apple official to testify before US Senate on App store issues

Apple's Chief Compliance Officer Kyle Andeer has agreed to testify before the US Senate to clear the firm's position on competition issues related to mobile app stores. The hearing by the Senate will be held on April 21. This comes after US Senators Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat, and Mike Lee, a Republican, wrote to Tim Cook, calling the company's failure to send a witness for the hearing "unacceptable".
