Air taxi startup EHang flies its EHang 216 autonomously in US for the first time

In a first, aerial passenger startup EHang flew its EHang 216 two-seat self-flying taxi fully autonomously in North Carolina last night. The Guangzhou-based company has already demonstrated its vehicle in flight in China and in different parts of Europe and Asia. If was for the first time that the aircraft received the approval by FAA to fly in US. The company is now aiming to get approval to flying with passengers on board.
