An app which was advising people on how to recover from same-sex attraction has been removed by Google from its Play Store. This has come after the US' top LGBTQ charities excluded Google's name from a gay and transgender rights ranking for failing to remove the app 'Conversion Therapy'. Google spokesman said that they have taken the step after consulting outside advocacy organizations and reviewing its policies.
