After calling TikTok a threat to national security, US now threatens to restrict WeChat

US administrators after calling Chinese videomaking app TikTok a threat to national security have now threatened to restrict WeChat as well. White House trade advisor Peter Navarro told media that TikTok and WeChat are the biggest forms of censorship on the Chinese mainland, and so expect strong action on that. Navarro said that all of the data that goes into those mobile apps goes right to servers in China.
