A violinist, Dagmar Turner, diagnosed with a large, slow-growing tumour back in 2013. Her tumour was located in the right frontal lobe of her brain which is close to the part of her brain responsible for controlling her delicate hand movement essential when playing the violin. So to make sure that there's no damage, the doctors came with an idea, woke her up mid-surgery and asked her to play the violin while they removed a tumour.
