CCTV facility will be available on 983 Railway Stations

Being funded by Rs 500 crore by the Finance Ministry and using the Nirbhaya Fund, the decision of facilitating 983 railway stations with the CCTV Cameras installation has been told to the Rajya Sabha. Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain has told that work has already been started in 129 railway stations across 15 Zonal railways. Till now, the Zonal Railways have been given baggage scanners, frame metal doors in large number.
