59 Chinese apps including TikTok banned by Government amid border tensions in Ladakh

Amid the rising border tensions along LAC, the Government of India has decided to ban Chinese apps diverting data and those with privacy issues. 59 apps including TikTok, UC Browser, shareit, WeChat, Club Factory, MI Community and others are banned by the Government of India "which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”.
