Space docking is a complex process that involves two flying objects in space to join together to transfer men or material from one to another. ISRO will start conducting test space-docking in 2020, the first step towards setting up a space station. Mastering the space-docking is crucial for the operation and once the test is successful the astronauts would need to be ferried from the Earth to the space station and back.
