Stanford engineers have redesigned an iconic 1981 DeLorean with a futuristic upgrade such as self-driving capabilities among others. The vehicle, MARTY, is now an all-electric, self-driving machine that features custom suspension and onboard computers. The vintage car has been designed to also drift that can use all of the friction between the tires to avoid any accident that is avoidable within the laws of physics.
