DrinkPrime, a Bengaluru-based water purifier startup, raised INR 21 Cr in a Pre-Series A round from Omidyar Network India and Sequoia Surge on Tuesday. The funds will be used to strengthen its team and invest in its growth plans to reach to 1 Mn households in the next 3 years. DrinkPrime was founded by Vijender Reddy Muthyala and Manas Ranjan Hota in 2015. The Bengaluru-based startup is looking to expand to multiple geographies this year.
