Digital insurance provider Acko has raised $16 million from private equity firm Ascent Capital, which is the second investment for Mumbai-based startup in 2019. Flipkart founder Binny Bansal and ex-SoftBank managing partner Kabir Mishra-led RPS investment fund had led $65 million in March. Acko applies data and analytics to provide highly personalised direct-to-consumer automotive insurance products.
