251 startups funded, 45 jobs created per startup through SIDBI: DPIIT

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said 251 startups received funding by venture capital investors through SIDBI's Fund of Funds, thereby creating 11,698 jobs till now. So, on an average of 45 jobs per startup has been created. Out of 11,698 jobs; men have 9,335 jobs, and women have 2,363 jobs only. FFS was launched in 2016 by PM Modi as a part of the Startup India scheme.
