The All India senior selection committee, on Wednesday, named Rohit Sharma as India’s ODI skipper, replacing Virat Kohli, who recently relinquished T20I captaincy following the end of India’s campaign at the 2021 T20 World Cup. As per a GQ report, there will be no change in Rohit’s salary from the BCCI. He is paid a sum of INR 7 crore annually by virtue of holding an A+ contract, along with Kohli and pacer Japsrit Bumrah.
