Jonny Bairstow was dismissed under bizarre circumstances on Day 5 of the second Ashes Test. He ducked a bouncer in the last ball of the 52nd over. The wicketkeeper-batter felt that the ball was dead and left his crease. To his surprise, his opposite number, Alex Carey, under-armed the ball through to the stumps and caught him short of his crease. After the incident, an old video of MS Dhoni recalling Ian Bell during the second Test in 2011 resurfaced.
