The wait finally ended as Suryakumar Yadav made his Test debut against Australia in the first Test at Nagpur on February 9. With that, he became the first Indian cricketer in history to make his debut in all three formats after turning 30. Despite playing reasonably well for Mumbai and in the Indian Premier League, Yadav was not considered for selection because of his consistency.
