Summer transfer window set to be moved

The summer transfer window will be moved and contracts ending on June 30 will be extended for a short period under new proposals. Completing the 2019-20 season by 30 June, as initially expected, won’t happen. The new deals will begin before the 2020-21 campaign eventually starts. New dates for the transfer window - pushed to September 1 in England - will be sanctioned by Fifa only if they fall between 2 seasons.
