Sports Ministry extends its help to rescue stranded Olympian in US

Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has assured to help hockey Olympian and 1975 World Cup-winning player, Ashok Diwan, who is stuck in US due to the travel restrictions amid the pandemic. Indian Embassy in San Francisco has already been informed and they have assured to send a doctor to attend Diwan who is suffering from health issues. Diwan had earlier sought a letter to Narinder Batra, President of IOA asking for help.
