Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has claimed he would have attempted to hit Steve Smith to dismantle him. Akhtar also stated the former Aussie captain doesn’t have a sound technique or style to face fast bowling but has the guts which make him an effective batsman in modern cricket. Akhtar, however, praised the star batsman by calling him as one of a kind despite criticizing about his techniques.
