Indian women cricket team’s opener Shafali Verma achieved a historic feat during India’s 1st T20I against West Indies. The right-hander, 15 years & 285 days old, with her 49-ball 73 became the youngest Indian to hit a half-century in international cricket. She is also 2nd youngest woman to score a T20I half-century after UAE’s K Egodage. She even surpassed Rohit Sharma to become youngest Indian to score a T20I fifty.
