Sachin Tendulkar acquires stake in Unacademy, becomes its brand ambassador

Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar has acquired a small stake in Bengaluru-based online education technology company Unacademy. The Master Blaster has also become the brand ambassador of the firm. “Over the last couple of months, Sachin decided to come on board as a strategic investor and a brand ambassador for us,” said Gaurav Munjal, co-founder and CEO of Unacademy Group. The platform has more than 47,000 teachers.
