Ronaldinho to remain in prison after bail plea gets rejected

Ronaldinho will stay in pre-trial detention in Paraguay after a judge rejected his lawyer’s plea to release him on bail or to keep him in house arrest. The 39-year-old Brazilian World Cup winner and his brother Roberto were taken into custody on Friday after accused of being in possession of fake Paraguayan passports. Ronaldinho claims the passports were given to him by those who invited him to attend conferences.
