Shubman Gill performed consistently throughout the series and bagged the Player of the Series award. While several lauded the youngster, a tweet by the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore particularly caught everyone’s attention. RCB shared a congratulatory message for the youngster even before he crossed the three-figure mark. Gill was denied his dream century by just two runs. This also meant that RCB had to delete their tweet.
