Quinton de Kock has been named South Africa’s new ODI captain replacing Faf du Plessis. He has previously led South Africa in 2 ODIs and 2 T20Is. His first assignment will be a 3-match series against England, starting on February 4. Interestingly, South Africa didn’t name Test and T20 captain Faf du Plessis in the 15-man squad despite confirming he won’t be retiring until the World Cup T20 in October and November.
