PV Sindhu stormed into the All England Championships women’s singles quarterfinals after a straight-game 21-19 21-15 victory over Sung Ji Hyun of Korea. The sixth-seeded Indian shuttler won the round of 16-match in 49 minutes. Meanwhile, Lakshya Sen was knocked out of the tournament after going down 17-21, 18-21 in straight games to world number seven Victor Axelsen in the men’s singles after a hard-fought battle.
