Former Pakistan cricketer Nasir Jamshed has been handed a 17-month jail sentence for his role in a spot-fixing scandal. Jamshed was involved in a conspiracy to bribe fellow cricketers with British nationals Yousef Anwar and Mohammed Ijaz. Jamshed was later arrested after investigation. While Anwar has been given 40 months, Ijaz received 30 month-jail term. PCB already banned 33-year-old Jamshed for 10 years in 2018.
