Suntory CEO Takeshi Niinami said in an exclusive interview with CNN Business that his business opted not to sponsor the next Tokyo Games because it was "extremely costly." "We considered being an Olympic partner... but the economics didn't work out," said the CEO of the Japanese beverage conglomerate, which owns Orangina and Jim Beam whiskey brands. Those plans were canceled after organizers decided to exclude spectators from the Games.
