After recovering from a serious elbow injury, India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has made it to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with a stunning throw of 87.86m at the Athletics Central North East competition in South Africa. It was the Olympic medal hopeful’s first competitive appearance after recovering from the injury. His last major international event was 2018 Asian Games last August where he won a gold medal.
